Piedmont Natural Gas is continually investing in its natural gas pipeline delivery system in Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area. In fact, since 1985, Piedmont Natural Gas has invested more than $500 million in enhancements and additions to its pipeline delivery system. With more than 3,300 miles of natural gas pipelines delivering natural gas service safely and reliably to more than 165,000 customers, Piedmont’s efforts are rarely at a standstill. Because of this, Piedmont is very mindful of the impact that its construction activities can have on local infrastructure, existing homes and businesses, and the community at large. We work hard to be good stewards of the environment and take numerous measures during the construction process to minimize its impact on the public.
