Pipeline Construction

Previous Work Examples

Examples of our commitment to environmental stewardship and land restoration can be seen in the following photos.

In 2000-2001, Piedmont Natural Gas installed approximately three miles of eight- and 12-inch pipeline from West Nashville near White Bridge Road to the Vanderbilt area in order to serve Vanderbilt University’s co-generation facility.

The new pipeline, though it passed through residential, commercial and recreational areas, caused minimal disruption to residents and businesses along the route and restored or improved the land from its original condition. Piedmont upheld its commitment to those along the route of the pipeline, to the environment, and to the community at large.

The following photos, showing “before” and “after” images of various piedmont projects, illustrate our commitment to minimally disruptive construction processes and our commitment to land restoration.
